SBMA, a third-party administrator, is the affordable ACA compliant benefits provider to thousands of employers. Their goal is to simplify the complexity of providing employee benefits. SBMA is different because of their personal service, speed of implementation, and innovative approach to benefits coverage.
SBMA, an Acrisure agency partner, has a current need for a full-time remote Sales Executive.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with brokers and consultants
- Obtain new accounts through broker channel sales
- Manage the sales process from initial proposal to implementation
- Manage database of prospects and assigned producers
- Organize broker events, in-person and virtual to help strengthen market presence
- Meet or exceed annual business plan as measured by new cases, and membership objectives
- Participate in local industry events
- Constantly update job knowledge and know your competition

Education and Experience:
- 3-5 years of insurance experience, required
- 3-5 years of marketing/sales experience, required
- High school diploma or the recognized equivalent, required
Other Qualifications:
- Very knowledgeable of complete line of products /services and clients’ issues and needs
- Very knowledgeable of the ACA Employer Mandate and compliance solutions
- Highly motivated with excellent organizational skills
- Self-starter with ability to work independently or as a team to achieve goals and objectives
- Excellent Sales skills with the ability to close the sale
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Goal oriented individual
- Strong interpersonal competencies to effectively communicate internally and externally
- Responsible individual who owns their work and results
