The HR Generalist, Romania will be part of our wonderful HR team and act as the first point of contact for all employees in the country for various HR related queries, including but not limited to maintaining personnel records, preparing documents, and ensuring employees receive adequate support. You will own the majority of employee documentation including contracts, process and paperwork related to onboarding new employees, and payroll preparation.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Coordinate a variety of HR administrative tasks to ensure compliance with government regulations
- Take responsibility for all activities related to HR Administration, including but not limited to processing of hiring, firing, internal transfers, all types of absence, maintaining personnel records, etc.
- Create and maintain employee records including data processing in Workday
- Provide full information required for payroll and benefits calculation; Check calculation and keep communication with employees
- Localize as needed per legislation and implement global HR policies and procedures
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures required by the local legislation
- Resolve employee questions, concerns and grievances
- Work closely with country management on implementation of HR solutions aligned to business strategy
- Design, develop, implement and oversee the organization's environmental health and safety programs and procedures to safeguard employees and to ensure the compliance with regulations
- Investigate accidents and promote safety-conscious work performance and training programs
- Participate in global HR projects
WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
- In-depth knowledge of the employment law and basic knowledge of related disciplines in HR
- Proven work experience as an HR Administrator or HR Generalist
- Organizational skills and ability to priorities; can work independently under minimal guidance;
- Ability to solve complex problems, take a new perspective on existing solutions and look at challenges as new opportunities
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Qualified to degree level in HR, management or a business related field
- Experience with Workday or other HR software will be a plus
- High level of discipline, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while still maintaining a high-level of accuracy
- Outstanding organizational, problem solving and multi-tasking skills
- Team-player and positive attitude
- Fluent English
