About the Role
The Human Resource Business Partner reports to the Vice President of Human Resources at ACRT Services. This position will play a key role in driving results increasing organizational effectiveness and efficiency. This includes implementing and monitoring HR programs such as onboarding, development, performance management, recognition, and action plans for continuous improvement in human resources across all ACRT companies. This role will have business partner responsibility for ACRT Pacific within the ACRT family of companies. This position requires travel, as appropriate, to support regional teams. Additionally, it requires a high degree of organization and excellent attention to detail.
What You'll Do
Be a Key Liaison to the Company
- Work with senior management to develop and implement HR plans and solutions
- Partner with business on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and skills assessment and development
- Partner with the business to lead both annual, mid-year, and ongoing review processes which focus on performance management and talent development
- Collaborate with the compensation team to support salary planning, approval of salary actions, promotions and job re-leveling
- Partner with Shared Services to create and implement innovative solutions for a variety of employee engagement initiatives within the company
- Collaborate with Recruiting team to ensure the hand off between hiring and onboarding promotes employee engagement and contains all the components necessary for future employee success
Monitor Business Performance
- Review and analyze business metrics including data on retention and employee experience in order to recommend systemic improvements
- Drive organizational capability initiatives to meet the current and future needs of the business; utilize data to assess and address development and engagement needs
- Partner with other company HRBPs and HR leaders to facilitate achievement of established business objectives
Employee Relations & Advocacy
- Consults with business leaders to foster and promote a positive and productive work environment
- Provides investigation and consultation support to business leaders addressing employee relations, employee conduct, and performance issues, including the application of company policies and employment laws
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations in partnership with Shared Services teams
- Serves as an advocate on behalf of employees. Solicits and listens to employees' concerns and takes an active role in resolving problems
- Works with Shared Services to assist employees in obtaining information about benefits, compensation, training and other Human Resources programs and services
Team Management
- Manages the work of the Human Resource personnel for the assigned company
- Supports training and development of the Human Resource personnel to provide support to the HRBP and company
- Provides regular and timely feedback on performance of direct reports including the annual performance review
- Ensure procedural documentation is in place and leads the team in efficiency creation
Execute Key Initiatives
- Analyzes Human Resources program activity, conducts additional research and analysis as needed, and prepares reports and makes presentations
- Facilitates delivery of program content and training to assigned company and broader audiences, as appropriate
- Advise leaders on guiding their teams through organizational change

About You
Must haves:
Education: Bachelor's degree
Experience: 4 years of Human Resources experience in California with an additional 2 years of experience managing a team (6 years total experience)
Nice to haves:
Education: Master's degree in Human Resources Management or Business
Experience: 6 years of Human Resources experience in California (with at least 2 years of experience with a collectively bargained workforce) with an additional 4 years of experience managing a team
Your Skills
Experience working collaboratively, not just across the HR team but across all people and projects
Experience interpreting and building procedures to support California Labor Laws and related local laws and regulations
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Proven ability to research, analyze, and communicate information

Where We Work
At ACRT Services we prefer in-person employee interaction and we rely on collaboration among groups to be successful and agile, which means we expect work in the office to continue as an important part of our company culture and a key to employee success. This position is a remote role, meaning employees will work from home with occasional meetings in the office on an as needed basis.
Standard office equipment will be provided to work in the office and at home - a dedicated space at home to work is also required. Uninterrupted home-based internet is a must in your home to attend and host video calls, along with a minimum bandwidth speed of 20 mbps.
Salary Range Disclaimer
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the (Pacific) salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited tocustomer contract terms,location,experience, and performance. Other rewards may include Paid Time Off, 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match, ESOP contributions, medical, dental, and vision insurance, and other region-specific benefits as eligible.
Salary Range Transparency
For applicants residing inCalifornia, the salary range for this role is from $90,000per year to $110,000 per year.
This role is open to candidates located in California only.
