YOU MUST HAVE LABORATORY WORKING EXPERIENCE (Chemistry degree or Florida licensed technician preferred).·
Duties and responsibilities:
The Laboratory Analyst prepares and analyzes samples with accuracy and precision in accordance with ACS Laboratory's SOPs using instrumentation specific to the department and analytical methodologies. This position works independently and as part of a team to meet daily production targets and ensure hold times and turnaround times are met. The laboratory analyst understands and applies basic analytical chemistry principles, always follows safe laboratory practices, and maintains a safe working environment.

- Sample weighing
- Sample extractions
- Sample digestions
- Sample dilutions
- Sample analysis
- Recording data
- Inputting data
- Sanitizing glassware
- Sample disposal
- Uses and updates LIMS to track and manage workload.
- Instrument operation, troubleshooting, calibration, and quality control tracking.
- Preparation of mobile phases, stock solutions, standards and controls and other reagents.

- The availability to work flexible schedules when required (must be able to train and work on weekends).

- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug/alcohol test.
- CMTL Employees must not work for an MMTC, regardless of whether compensation is received; nor shall CMTL Employees receive any form of compensation or benefits of any kind from an MMTC while employed by a CMTL.
- CMTL Analysts must have, at a minimum, a bachelor's degree in natural science, to include, but not be limited to, biology, chemistry, physics, engineering, or environmental sciences; or hold a current license as a Clinical Laboratory Personnel, as defined in s. 483.803, F.S, from the Florida Board of Clinical Laboratory Personnel.
YOU MUST HAVE LABORATORY WORKING EXPERIENCE
*Chemistry degree or Florida licensed technician preferred
- 3 or more years experience in an analytical laboratory required
- Experience with the operation and maintenance of chromatographic instrumentation preferred.
Hours: Rotating schedules and weekends are required.
Available Shifts:
11:30 am- 8:00 pm (weekends are required)
4:00 pm- 12:30 am (weekends are required)
