About the Job:
We are seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our SHIFT CARE TEAM! We need nurses with a higher level of expertise to manage clients' ongoing complex medical conditions.
We do 1:1 patient care. 3-shifts rotation per day (8-hours). Also accepts a 4-hour shift, part-time.
Responsibilities:
- Care for ill, injured, or convalescing clients.
- Provide basic/complex care and treatment of clients with a tracheostomy, ventilator, feeding tubes, catheters, ostomies, and other client's advanced clinical care needs.
- Demonstrate effective nursing judgment and a thorough knowledge of nursing procedures and practices.
- With physician collaboration, develop individualized care plans for clients.
- Medication administration, treatments, and therapies.
- Provide health care education and instructions to clients and families.
- Complete thorough documentation, including treatment and interventions.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
- One (1) year of experience in a specialty care setting, ICU experience a plus.
- Ability to foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families.
- Strongly independent to work with patients at their place of residence
- A team player with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and staff.
Requirements:
- Licensed Registered Nurse in good standing with state affiliated Board of Nursing.
- Current ACLS/BLS (required).
- Physical exam.
- TB test results.
- Immunizations records.
- Current Shot Records.
