What are the responsibilities and job description for the Diesel Technician position at Actalent Services?
We are looking for a Diesel Technician with experience testing diesel engines. You must have experience working with diesel engines to be considered.
Diesel Technician:
- Assist and perform vehicle build activities
- Check and verify operation of the electric and mechanical systems installed to the trucks
- Help troubleshoot any issues seen in the truck during verification
- Support issue resolution in conjunction with the rest of the team
- Document any issues found and the steps taken to resolve the same
- Discuss and present any electrical and mechanical issues found during the entire lifecycle of the vehicle
- Create/modify/maintain wiring harnesses and test the connections as required
