Animal Research Assistant

Seeking a Research Assistant in the Dayton area! You would be eligible for 100% tuition reimbursement for higher education through this company.

Description:

-Participating in execution of motor neuron animal research.

-Position will include some animal colony management, federal compliance training and experiment execution.

-Assisting students and staff with experimental procedures.

-This will require a willingness to be trained in or preferable experience in animal handling, tissue collection procedures, knowledge of histology and sectioning techniques.

-The position will require behavior testing, record keeping, data analysis and data management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience, Biology or related field.

6 months of animal handling experience
