SUMMARY
- A large Civil Engineering Consulting Firm is seeking a full-time Civil Engineer (EI) for an opportunity to jump start their professional engineering career. This opportunity offers a long-term and an exciting position for a Civil/Environmental Engineer or someone who has 0 - 2 years of experience that is interested in pursuing a professional engineering career which is allowing sustainability, impact, solutions, and remediation to the environment within water resources, sustainable water/wastewater infrastructure, and civil site work.

TYPES OF PROJECTS
This Civil Engineering Consultant specializes in Water and Wastewater Treatment design as well as Water Resources engineering, Site Design, and Transportation Engineering. The majority of these projects are for Municipal Clients (cities and towns throughout Indiana) and are either rehabilitation projects or new construction projects.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES
- Perform assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to carry out engineering tasks.
- Work under the supervision of a Project Manager and/or Professional Engineer (PE).
- Perform sub-professional engineering tasks such as field work, inspections, engineering reports, permits, construction engineering, and simple design calculations.
- Coordinate with construction contractors.
- Review construction drawings and specifications.
- Contact government officials for permits.
- Perform other related duties as required
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
- Knowledge of basic engineering principles & willingness to learn new skills
- Interest in water resources and sustainable water/wastewater infrastructure design
