Clinical Research Nurse- Oncology

Hours:

M-F normal business hours

Must haves:

3 years of RN experience

1 year of RN Oncology experience

Nice to have:

Clinical Research experience

Job Responsibilities

This role will be spending a lot of time collaborating with research teams, looking through medical records, understanding different types of cancers

o If they have any clinical research experience that would be helpful

o These are all adult oncology trials

o Their CRNCs are doing everything for the patients - pre-screening, enrolling, consenting, patient management and patient follow up, coordinating the patient through their visit each time they come in, assessing for Adverse Events

o Patient load depends on the trial itself - most patients are coming in between 2-4 weeks - might be managing up to 10 patients at a time

o There are some non-treatment patients as well, these patients are on follow up as well

o For the Mid-Town/North Austin locations - they are doing phase I research and if they administer a drug they will have to stay with that patient the entire

o Working primarily onsite, 1 day WFH but they get that after 6 months of being in the position (WFH day is as business needs - if staff is out, etc. they would be required to be in office every day)

Salary : $80,000 - $85,000
