What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Supervisor position at Actalent?
Description:
- Schedule patients for office / clinic visits
- Prep rooms with required materials for visit
- Room Patients
- Work alongside 1 provider with an additional MA employee (3 total providers. 2 MAs/1 Doctor ratio)
- Take vitals, weight, height, Blood Pressure, medical history
- Work with patients family/caregiver for collecting information
- Enter all data into EMR system-Allscripts
- Schedule follow ups as needed
- Schedule CMAs paired up with doctor's schedules
- 1-2 days out of the week will be spent doing more admin based tasks
- On the occasion they will need to float to another location if they're short staffed.
- Hours: m-f 8am-4/5pm Need to be flexible if patient has a later scheduled appointment and provider needs them to stay and assist
- Other responsibilities will include performing multi paged evaluations on staff alongside the doctors and Director of the practice.
- Checking inventory for medical supplies/ordering when stock gets low.
- Needs to be able to manage a team of 8 CMAs and provide feedback directly to each individual

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Must Have: LPN license through state of IL or Medical Assistant Schooling/Diploma/Cert ,externship or work exp, Family Medicine or specialty experience (Family Medicine, specialty) Strong computer skills EMR, strong communication skills, and strong knowledge of giving report/debrief to a medical professional
Strong communication skills, close attention to detail
Previous leadership experience. specifically overseeing a team of CMAs/clinical staff
Must have inventory control experience for medical supply
Bilingual in Spanish is a nice to have
