Description:
Our customer is looking for a Controls Engineer to support their design and design & build of small machines. They build small machines for KUKA, Nexteer, GM Powertrain, Traverse City, Century, SMI, and others. Most of this is test equipment, some assemblies, improvements on the line type of machines. Machines they build are usually between $150K - $300K.
Job Duties:
70% of the time designing in AutoCAD Lite; will be designing controls panels and machine circuits and HMI design
30% of the time will be assisting with the build as well as doing programming PLC in Allen Bradley and HMI programming
