Description:
Actalent Services is currently hiring a Controls Engineer for a Tier 1 Automotive Supplier in Upper Sandusky, OH. This Controls Engineer will be contributing their expertise to all of the Electrical & Control Systems within the Automotive facility. You will be working hand-in-hand with two other Controls Engineer that is on your team to provide improvements to the Electrical & Control Systems during the development stages for new model machines and equipment. You will also be responsible for improving current model and new model equipment during installations and all stages of the manufacturing lifecycle. Responsibilities: Develop schematic drawings Create and document panel layouts. Operator Console, Electrical Control Panel development. Development of PLC and HMI Applications mainly in Omron and Keyence (Will look at someone who has experience with any PLC programs) Component Bill of Material Creation and purchase order submission. Project Management and Timeline Development Support implementation to required Electrical and Safety standards. Support Value analysis activity. Support Root cause analysis activity. Support Continuous improvement activity. You will be an Actalent Consultant for 9 months and during this 9 month period you will be paid as a Salaried Employee so you will receive a weekly income that would equate to 40 hours. During this period you will also match the same vacation & holiday schedule as a permanent employee which would be roughly 13 paid holidays & 10 hrs of accrued vacation each month. After the 9 month period you will go on Direct with the Tier 1 Automotive supplier.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or an Engineering Discipline with a General Understanding of Automated Systems, PLC, HMI, etc. (Associates will be considered as well) Multiple years of experience as a Controls Engineer within a High Volume Manufacturing facility. This position is very open on the amount of experience, the most important thing is that this individual must be dedicated & take the initiative in the work place. 3 years of experience working with PLC's
