What are the responsibilities and job description for the Design Engineer position at Actalent?
Description:
Solidworks Design
Examine requests from production on what changes need to be made.
Use Solidworks and Autocad to alter any design or and design changes. Work with the product design teams on any large changes.
Contact vendors or switch suppliers to support production inventory.
Assist in implementing the change out onto the floor. Follow-up with staff to make sure process is being followed.
Make engineering change orders within BOM, PDM, etc.
Will be responsible for any follow up out to the field as requests come in.
