What are the responsibilities and job description for the Design Engineer position at Actalent?
Description/Responsibilities:
- Review project instructions
- Conduct tests on units and components and investigate ways to improve performance
- Devise, fabricate, and assemble new or modified mechanical components
- Analyze test results of equipment
- Identify, modify, and plan required fabrication, assembly and testing
- Discuss changes in design with rest of staff
- Communicate with vendors to gather information and assistance
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Associates in Engineering or technical discipline
- 2 years of Design Engineering experience
