What are the responsibilities and job description for the Designer Drafter position at Actalent?
Description:
Looking for a Distribution Designer in the Greenville, SC location to design projects from the utilities.
- Heavy reconduct and system upgrades
- Very involved, QA/QC
- under PM, handles training, final QC, on-site meetings with clients and line crews, acquire permits and to thorough permitting process
- overhead Distribution
- Power constructability – look at application in the field (look at existing pole lines and look at replacements or existing pole with additional arms, etc to see if we have enough spacing, etc what restrictions will keep us from going up what are the options we have ex of restrictions: transmission encroachment based on voltage of power lines we can only go so close)
- Design and standardization understanding
