Description:
Are you looking to kick your career into high gear with a well known automotive company and a global leader in engineering services? Actalent is currently hiring a DevOps engineer to work on assignment with an automotive client.
This position is open to assist our client who is lagging behind in their CI/CD deployments. They want to automate their pipelines, and work on performance montiroing and priority. You will be joining 1 other DevOps engineer, and gain access to a wide range of problems, helping you to become a well rounded, yet specialized, engineer.
Day to Day Activites:
- One of the primary expectations would be triaging/troubleshooting the application, understanding why the application may or may not be responding, understanding which layer the problems are coming from.
- Helping with deployment
- Working on any other environment issues

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• Experience in triaging and troubleshooting of enterprise grade Java/J2EE applications.
• Experience in OpenShift.
• Experience with any leading Application Performance Monitoring tools like Dynatrace, DataDog, etc.
• Experience with CICD pipelines using Jenkins or Tekton.
• Experience handling containerized environments using Docker, ContainerD or Podman.
• Experience using Terraform for creating new environments.
• RDBMS proficiency in at least one of: MSSQL, Oracle, Postgresql or MySQL. Query writing and schema design expected.
