Electrical Designer - ENTRY LEVEL

Description:

This position is looking to bring on an Electrical Design or drafting candidate with 1-10 years experience working with industrial panels and someone with the ability to design electrical circuits per NEC requirements for panels with electric motor loads.

Below are some of the responsibilities for the position:

- Interpret customer specifications, requirements, and project obstacles

- Specify hardware and all of the components for the controls system for the application (size and select all of the electrical components)

- Design, Layout and configure of the control panel

- Creations of electrical schematics and wiring design in AutoCAD

- Generate Bill of materials or BOM's and work through ECN or ECR (Engineering Change notice or Engineering change request

- Interaction with customers, field sales, marketing and production to accomplish goals

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

-AS in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics, or a similar Engineering Degree - Not necessarily required but preferred, will take a BS degree as well

-1 years experience taking an Engineers specifications and creating the entire design and layout of a control panel, must be able to hit the ground running - there is no maximum level of experience for this position

-1 years experience with AutoCAD - EPlan would be a plus

-1 years experience designing control panels to NEC standards

-1 years experience sizing and selecting electrical components (VFD's, circuits, fuses, relays, switches)
