What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Technologist position at Actalent?
Description:
Out client are currently working on a new program for which they will require assembly support, product testing and installation of components upon full assembly. The systems themselves are composed of intricate wiring, PCB's, capacitors and unique powering systems ranging from battery to hydrogen. The role will require an electrical technologist/mechanical technologist to support the engineering team.
MUST HAVES:
College Diploma or Degree with focus on electrical and electronic systems
2 years of electrical and electronic assembly support on approved drawings
2 years troubleshooting experience working with power supplies, interconnects with oscilloscopes and related equipment
1 years experience working directly with 3 phase power
2 years working with CAD software (electrical or mechanical)
Nice to Haves:
Electrical/mechanical system testing - will be hands on testing to ensure system is operating efficiently and reporting bugs to the senior mechanical/electrical engineers.
