Description:
The Engineering Coordinator is responsible for working with internal teams, monitoring engineering changes, supplier deliveries, and material issues to drive efficient product arrival and order departures. The position will also develop, update, input, issue and maintain the shop the floor schedule and ERP system data. They will be supporting engineering, sales and manufacturing to ensure alignment of activities and objectives.
Day to day responsibilities:
-Reviewing engineering BOM for accuracy and ERP system for material availability
-Implement design changes with manufacturing Work Orders
-Ensure continuous supply of required goods and materials and communicate any supply issues that would affect engineering or business operations
-Schedule and release Work Orders for assembly
-Identify, source and develop/maintain supplier relationships including communication of expectations and measuring performance
-Quickly resolve and/or escalate issues related to quality, delivery, or service when the product delivery goals may be in jeopardy
-Ensure that a professional and consistent approach is taken in relation to all supplier relationships
-Contact suppliers purposefully to resolve quality and delivery or invoice issues
Skills & Qualifications:
MUST HAVE:
-Experience working in Manufacturing (3 years preferred)
-ERP experience (any will be ok)
-Attention to detail and accuracy
PLUS:
-Supply Chain experience
-Associates degree in engineering or industrial technology
-Global Shop Solutions Scheduling
