What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Manager position at Actalent?
Description:
The Engineering Manager is responsible for all technical aspects related to selling, producing, and supporting these products and their respective customers, including Quality Management System oversight. You will manage our team of engineers, who contribute technical expertise to every aspect of a project, from preparing initial concept schematics to designing complete IIOT connected machines. You will be on the cutting edge of industrial technologies, recommending and specifying the most innovative technical solutions available in our market.
Skills:
Solidworks, design review, hydraulics, machine design
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• Degree in engineering, mechanical preferred
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, 3-D modeling software, or SolidWorks
• Technical design knowledge of fluid power systems & Machine Build Experience, including structural and fabrication design.
• Ability to obtain clearance to work on U.S. Government Dept. of Defense Contracts
• Experience managing a formal QMS process.
