Job Title: Engineering Technologist I / II / III
Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a lighting designer to support small to mid-size industrial and commercial projects. You will be an integral part of upgrading our distribution infrastructure across North Carolina. Your tasks will include retrofitting transformers, replacing deteriorating cables, moving overhead lines to underground, reconductoring existing distribution lines, and replacing aging poles. After fieldwork, you will bring your notes back to the office and design them in BOUD per our standards, similar to using MicroStation. You will also use Maximo for creating a bill of materials. You will prepare project and job packages using Expert Designer and WMIS, including material estimates and material requisitions for the prepared distribution electrical designs. All designs will be in 2D.
