What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Technician position at Actalent?
Seeking an Environmental Scientist on a full-time basis for their Brookfield, WI office to participate in a variety of environmental
compliance support tasks, such as hazardous waste and materials management, aboveground storage tank compliance and registrations, spill prevention compliance and management, and storm water compliance.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Executing various work scopes, while meeting project schedules and budgets.
- Work independently and as part of a project team and be able to adjust to changing conditions.
- Work as a team member to assist in preparation of regulatory reports and permit applications.
- Interface with client personnel at a corporate and facility level.
- Communications with regulatory agencies, subcontractors and vendors.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, a core science (such as geology, chemistry, physics, or biology), engineering, or related area required.
- Related work experience of 1 - 2 years preferred.
