What are the responsibilities and job description for the Expediter position at Actalent?
Description:
Support our procurement team to confirm and update purchase orders. Daily tracking of material shortages and contact vendors to get parts expedited as needed. Review on hand inventory to look for possible substitutions for parts that are short/delayed. Actively Identify alternate sources for parts where single sourced.
Skills:
SAP
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
4 year degree business or supply chain preferred.
1-2 years experience in a supply chain or procurement support role.
Proficiency in computer software a must in particular SAP and excel.
Effective time management and organization skills.
Conceptual, analytical/problem solving skills and effective communications skills (oral, written and presentation).
Monitor daily outstanding orders and contact vendors to confirm orders are on track for delivery
Confirm/update purchase orders in SAP daily.
Performs other duties as required.
