What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Technician position at Actalent?
Description:
This person will be performing landfill wellfield and pump maintenance, and will be trained in gas metering onsite as well. Will be provided equipment, gas meters, PPE, etc. and supporting a landfill site in Griffin primarily.
A typical day looks like:
Primary job is walking the wellfield checking liquid levels, pulling pumps, tuning wells with a gas meters, maintaining the flare etc.
Pulling and cleaning pumps, running lines, and light maintenance as needed
Will be on site at a landfill watching project work and assisting as needed. Will need to be able to walk up and down a landfill site and work outside in the elements. Inspecting and performing preventative maintenance on various HDPE pipe systems as needed.

1 years of mechanical, utility or construction experience
Landfill experience is a plus!
Experience with gas or utilities experience is a plus
Able to pass an MVR (motor vehicle report)
