What are the responsibilities and job description for the Gis Technician position at Actalent?
Description:
This position will be supporting a system integration project for the Electrical Systems Operation group at a local utility. You will work close with the Analyst to perform asset identification and data entry for various work types happening on the electrical grid. You will be supporting the team as they transition their outage management system over the next two years.
Skills & Qualifications:
Update/modify data imported to OMS from GIS
Creates/maintains substation or other schematic displays
Updates SCADA point information to support end-to-end connectivity testing
Integrate data corrections/redlines into model
Retrieve, research, analyze and interprets GIS inputs, as-built drawings
Request field investigation to resolve conflicts
