TOP Multi-Disciplinary Engineering Firm is seeking a HVAC Design Engineer to join their team in Chicago (or any other locations their office is located)! Job Description:
- Perform detailed engineering building services design, take on a component of the building – 5 mill sq ft
- Prepare technical schedules
- Plan and manage CAD documentation of design work
- Monitor performance of junior staff
- Ensure service and project work are carried out within agreed deadlines and within budget
- Work closely with other groups to carry out the project correctly
- Lead a small team
Qualifications:
- 4-7 Years as a Mechanical Engineer focusing on HVAC
- Act as the mechanical lead on a project
- Work competently on an independent basis
- Take responsibility for concept and preliminary engineering solutions
- Prepare review and sign-off on calculations and prepare design documents
- Carry out design reviews prior to the issue of technical documentation.
