Description:
-Assist in overseeing a team of inspectors and delegating tasks
-Performing site inspections
-Collecting bulk samples and creating reports according to applicable State and Federal protocols
-IAQ (Indoor Air Quality)
-Conducting job site health & safety inspections
-Performing air monitoring
-Assist with coordinating site meetings and scheduling field operations
-Work with Management and interface with Clients
-Oversee construction projects to monitor progress and ensure conformance with approved work plans, engineering plans, specifications and construction and safety standards.
-Analyze reports, maps, drawings, and environmental data
Skills:
-3 years of experience in Environmental Science in New York City
-Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science or a Related Field
-Experience with Environmental Inspection, Remediation Monitoring, and Hazardous Materials
-Experience working with Lead, Asbestos, and/or Mold and abatement
-Certification: Lead or Mold Certification
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
-OSHA 40
-Hazmat Certification
-Hazwoper Certification
-EPA Certifications
-Radon Certification is a plus!
-Asbestos Certification is a plus!
