What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior Project Manager position at Actalent?
Hiring for a Junior Project Manager to work with a boutique design, engineering, and fabrication company!
Description:
Will be in charge of organizing various internal departments and external builders/vendors for national accounts
Will be the main connection between the design team, local general contractors and/or vendors, internal teams, and outsourced components
Will oversee the lifespan of projects from initial conception to installation, communicate internally and externally to ensure timely completion, and manage budgets
The Jr. Project Manager will report to Project Manager and work alongside for training purposes until able to work independently
Travel to job sites within the Chicagoland expected
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Associates or Bachelors degree in Architecture, Architectural Studies, Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or related field
0-3 years of experience working in a coordination or management role within the design field
Experience overseeing projects, managing schedules and teams preferred
Knowledge of reading construction documents in AutoCAD
