Description:
The lab technician will be doing a combination of QA and QC
Duties and Essential Functions
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Serve as first point of contact for all visitors, guests, and vendors both in person and over the phone, including receiving packages and maintaining visitor log
• Coordinate services with multiple vendors, ensuring they are completed in a timely and satisfactory way, researching and reviewing vendor options and contracts
• Assist QA department in miscellaneous administrative duties
• Running pH and GC tests in the lab
• Support Woodland leadership and department managers with various administrative tasks and projects, including occasional errands
• Facilitate events and meetings, including maintaining a clean and stocked conference room, picking up food, coordinating meeting calendar and conference room technology
• Assist Sanitation department, maintaining supplies inventory
• Assist in technology administration, manage phone system
• Maintain inventory and order office supplies, keys, and badges
• Additional miscellaneous administrative tasks as assigned by Woodland leadership

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS
• B.S. in a Science field with academic lab experience or associate with a few years lab experience outside academic
• Excellent organization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once and work with a variety of deadlines
• A track record of follow through and demonstrated ability to get the job done
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong and proactive communication skills: verbal, written, and phone
• A willingness to take on projects with little supervision, learn new skills, and stretch yourself daily
• Ability to work cross-functionally in teams with people from many different areas of the company
• Passion for natural food products a plus
