Job Title: ISG (Machine Maintenance) Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an Engineering Maintenance and Technical Support Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will utilize your knowledge, skills, and learning abilities across several teams, with opportunities for cross-training. More experienced candidates will take on significant project responsibilities and have the chance to mentor other technicians. You will work in diverse areas of our Emissions Lab and Milford Proving Grounds, focusing on troubleshooting test cell systems and equipment, calibrating instrumentation, and performing preventative maintenance. Our goal is to minimize downtime and drive continuous improvement to maximize efficiency.

Hard Skills

• Associates Degree or equivalent experience in an electrical-related field
• 3-5 years of electrical and/or mechanical hands-on experience
• Welding and fabrication skills
• Familiarity with systems such as drive systems, fuel systems, dynamometers
• Experience working with 480VAC and 1000VDC systems
• Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
• Broad troubleshooting skills

Soft Skills

• Ability to mentor and guide other technicians
• Strong problem-solving capabilities
• Effective communication skills

This is a contract position - long term, open ended

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Milford Charter Township, Michigan.
