Description:
- Observe processes and identify opportunities for improvements (waste, cost, and time) - Execute on Lean 6 sigma tools within the plant - Train, coach and develop peers on best practices for continued improvements - Contribute to weekly OEE meetings (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) focused on productivity - Collect data from production floor and collaborate with quality for root cause investigations - Track database of improvements made and overall effectiveness

Qualifications: - Experience driving continuous improvement activities - Experience with Lean Six Sigma tools (5 Why, DMAIC, Kaizen, FMEA, etc.) - Previous experience cutting waste - time, scrap material, cost savings - Ability to collect, analyze and track data (strong focus on Microsoft Excel) - Bachelors degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience - At least 3 years in a process/CI role Pluses: - Six Sigma Green Belt - Automotive industry experience strongly preferred; previous experience at a Tier 1 Supplier supporting large OEMs - International collaboration experience (suppliers, customers and coworkers)
