Mechanical Design Engineer

Would like someone with good cross-functional automotive engineering experience preferably with focus on Heavy Duty trucks. As far as CAD, Catia experience is preferred, but Creo would also be useful and Interior /CAB Design.

Mechanical Engineer/Mechanical Designer

• Need someone with good cross-functional automotive engineering experience preferably with focus on Heavy Duty trucks. I need someone who can lead/guide cross functional teams to drive solutions for the product. As far as CAD, Catia experience is preferred, but Creo would also be useful.
• Automotive experience, preferably cab experience
• Experience with coming up with design solutions with cross functional teams-coordination for the team
• This engineer will come up with solutions and ideas before the initial design
• Design for manufacturability knowledge
• Will be working on anything related to the cab, anything that has paint on it, inside and outside of the cab, includes hood, bumper and grill
• Checking to ensure there are no interferences, packaging design, architecture of the truck
• Involved in early design phase, pre-study and the impacts the design will have on the truck
• Early conceptual models, high level of investigation
• Looking at components impacted and the solutions
• Once progress is made, monitor the interferences, conflicting designs
• Work closely with the design studio
• Advanced assembly management
