What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Designer position at Actalent?
Description:
We are partnered with a custom design manufacturer and Tier 1 Supplier that is looking to add a Mechanical Designer onto their design team that focuses on reusable metal racks. Daily tasks would include:
- Drafting and designing products to be used at OEM's
- Develop prototypes and custom design solutions based on customer's needs
- Work with Estimating to create cost and pricing packages for proposals
Qualifications:
- At least 1 to 3 years of design experience more is encouraged
- 3D CAD skills - SolidWorks is a must have
- Customization and prototyping
- Ability to work on multiple projects at once and prioritize in a fast paced environment
