What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Laboratory Technician position at Actalent?
Description:
Will be responsible for
- Accurately perform specimen analysis
- Phlebotomy
- Specimen Collection
- Process Collected Specimens
- Process Specimen Tubes for Send-Out Testing
- POC (point of care) Testing (iSTAT and INR)
- Maintain Specimen Integrity throughout Specimen Collection
- Run Hematology Analyzer (Sysmex XN 1000)
- Documents/Verifies Results in necessary programs (iKnowMed and Orchard LIMs)
- Work with the team to insure compliance with COLA & CLIA regulations
- Manual dip stick urines

Hours:
Day starts as early as 6:45am and as late as 9am
Monday - Friday
- 8 hour shifts with 30min lunch (unpaid) and two 15min paid breaks
