What are the responsibilities and job description for the Molding Manager position at Actalent?
Description:
• Performs typical management duties including resource management, hiring, coaching, development, performance planning etc
• Prioritizes and assigns work based on input from product planning, tire development, and plants
• Acts as primary contact for manufacturing plants for mold related support such as mold modifications and ordering additional molds
• Acts as primary contact for mold manufacturers for procurement activities, process discussions, technical inquiries
Skills:
injection mold, Process engineering, R&D engineering
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• AS/BS degree in engineering
• 10 years of engineering experience in a tire development, mold design, or tire manufacturing engineering activities is desired
• Management experience preferred
