What are the responsibilities and job description for the P6 Scheduler position at Actalent?
Description:
This particular project will be located in Hopkinsville, KY building out a large industrial space from the ground up.
The Project Scheduler will coordinate with the head of operations and sub-contractors/manpower to update and project percent complete reports and timelines. The ideal candidate will have experience in the build-out of multiple process plants and have an understanding of process piping builds. Scheduling will be the bulk of the work at the beginning while creating the foundation of the schedule. As the project progresses the role will split between scheduling and partaking in project management/engineering. Daily tasks will vary but the ideal candidate will always have an attention to detail and an ability to troubleshoot. To start we are expecting 40 hr work weeks but as the project progresses we expect 6 x 10.
