Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Packaging Technician to join our team. The Packaging Technician will be responsible for weighing, measuring and distributing chemicals.
Responsibilities:
- 1-2 years working with chemicals
- Measure, fill and package various chemicals (solvents, gases, dry materials)
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain packaging equipment
- Label product packages
- Utilization of the metric system to weigh and measure product
- Follow batch record and SOPs in order to fill the vials and packages
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a packaging or manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in a life science
