What are the responsibilities and job description for the Phlebotomist I position at Actalent?
DESCRIPTION:
- Will perform blood draws
- Will work with all demographics of the general public (some geriatric, OBGYN, internal meds, mostly reg Dr office)
- Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by test order.
- Perform data entry.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- PSC or an IOP – FLOAT position
- Will be at IOP more often than PSC
- Arrive get set up for the day, handle patients (some walk ins), no DT/paternity
- Draw, process, prep for shipping, track temps, draw logs
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience.
