What are the responsibilities and job description for the Phlebotomist position at Actalent?
We are looking for a Phlebotomist to join our team! The Phlebotomist will be floating between Slidell and New Orleans sites.
Responsibilities:
- Blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for pediatric and geriatric patients
- Specimen collection for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests
- Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
- Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
- Maintain patient/specimen information logs
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years of Phlebotomy experience required
- Must have experience drawing on Pediatric and Geriatric patients
- Proficiency with processing samples
Additional Information:
- Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Will receive mileage and drive time compensation
