What are the responsibilities and job description for the Phlebotomist position at Actalent?
Description:
As a floater you will be responsible for traveling to different accounts (Doctor's offices) to perform blood draws, providing coverage for people who are out or helping a busy account. Accounts are located in: Jasper, In, Evansville IN, Richmond KY, New Albany, IN, 3 Jeffersonville IN, 1 Louisville.
- draw quality blood samples while creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence.
- preparing specimens for laboratories testing
- performing screening standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- 2 years of phlebotomy experience preferably in a diagnostic setting
- Ability to travel up to 2 hours away with minimal heads up
- Ability to stay overnight if necessary
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid drivers license
