Job Title: Pilot Plant / R&D Operator

Job Description

We are seeking two dedicated Pilot Plant operators. As part of this role, you will spend the majority of your time (60-70%) in a lab setting, conducting distillations on a pilot/smaller scale, running samples to the lab, working with Gas Chromatography machines, and blending raw materials, specifically citrus oils. You will also be responsible for documenting testing results using Excel and Word. The other part of your time (30-40%) will be spent in a manufacturing setting, which may sometimes be non-climate controlled. Here, you will be running large batches through machines, monitoring distillation columns, and occasionally running the packaging line. This role includes both day and night shifts, following a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule. Overtime may be required.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Winter Haven, Florida.

Work Environment

This role will require you to work in a mixture of environments. The majority of your time will be spent in a climate-controlled lab, however, you may also be required to work outside or in a non-climate controlled area. You will be part of a small, dedicated department, but will also interact with approximately 15 people across different departments.
