Job Title: Deputy Logistics Manager
Job Description
The Deputy Logistics Manager will ensure cost-effective, timely, and accurate logistics support, including spares provisioning, obsolescence management, maintenance management, data collections, and transportation management. This role supports our fielded systems to achieve the highest possible availability for various mission sets both CONUS and OCONUS. Major duties include assisting the Logistics Program Manager, overseeing provisioning and maintenance, managing Military and Commercial Shipping, and tracking equipment. The Deputy Logistics Manager will answer queries from Program Managers, Logistics Managers, staff, Production Planners, Buyers, and vendors regarding equipment and requirements. Participation in staff, planning, production, and program meetings to relay updated relevant information is also expected. Additionally, this role will assist in managing System Maintenance/Reset, helium assets, unique support equipment, and generators.
