Description:
Seeking an entry level GPS/CAD Engineer to join our project Management team. This role is to provide support for the GPS equipment on site and to help utilize this equipment to make the job more efficient and aid in productivity. The ideal candidate will display a passion for the construction industry and an eagerness to learn about GPS and Drone technologies being used on our jobsites.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Responsible for Millimeter GPS, stringless grading, and drone technology use for jobsites as required.
Convert 2d Civil CAD files to 3D CAD models.
Manage Company drone survey program to map, measure and report on worksite progress.
Build and maintain 3D surface models for calculation of earthwork quantities, GPS machine control, and onsite construction layout.
Plotting and coloring detailed maps.
Calculating earthwork quantities from design data and field topography.
Takeoff surface quantities from design data.
Synchronize data with the cloud to deliver models to machines and rovers.
Maintain a log of all plans and specifics.
Maintain and troubleshoot GPS base stations, machines, and rovers.
Work with Vice President of each division, Project Managers and Foremen
