Job Description:
This Program Scheduler II is responsible for building, maintaining and analyzing master program schedules on multiple programs of varying size. This including status, performance, network logic, and critical path tracing and earned value reporting.
- Create and track plans and schedules, perform risk analysis, identify and resolve critical path and network logic conflicts.
- Driven towards establishing best practices and standardizing templates and processes related to Scheduling.
- Contribute to achievement of departmental goals and operating plans with direct impact on the departmental results.
- Perform schedule analysis in support of assigned programs or projects.
- Utilize Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress, and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas.
- Proactively identify negative slack risks impacting milestones and help determine a resolution with the Program Manager.
- Manage inputs to work force planning and resource management.
- Prepare, develop, and coordinate integrated master plan and integrated master schedule (IMP/IMS) using MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint. Understand how to take WBS dictionary data and build an IMS model and identify critical path.
- Ensures projects and program schedules and plans are integrated across company functional groups including engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and quality.
- Prepare Presentation-friendly snapshots of schedule progress and critical path.
- Attend and lead scheduling status reviews and conduct briefings with leaders which requires ability to communicate matters of importance to the function or business area.

Skills & Qualifications:
- BS/BA Degree in Finance, Business, or related degree with 3 years relevant experience.
- MS Project experience.
- Experience creating and/or maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and any Supporting Schedules on assigned projects/programs; creating and presenting project-level reports, presentations and deliverables that reflect risk and status to program management and upper management relating to the IMS is required.
Preferred:
- Experience integrating MS Project with Atlassian products, specifically JIRA and Confluence
- Experience using One Pager or Milestone Pro
- Knowledge and experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- PMI-SP certification
- CSM certification. (Scrum Master)
- CAPM or PMP
- Experience developing schedules for programs that design and manufacture complex products that have both Hardware and Software components.
- Space or Aerospace experience is a plus.
- Experience in small company, start-up, or growth transition environments.
