What are the responsibilities and job description for the QA Associate position at Actalent?
Description:
- Ensuring a strong factory floor QA presence within the Manufacturing and Packaging areas
- Manage relevant site Quality Management Systems, including management of KPIs, trends and improvement activities.
- Conduct timely reviews and approval of manufacturing/ packing documentation and records
- Lead GMP compliance activities to the required quality standards
- Drive continuous improvement activities through challenging current working practices with a view of improving efficiencies and quality standards
- Review quality issues and business priorities are addressed, escalated appropriately and resolved in a timely manner
- Effectively lead quality investigations, communicate with customers in relation to major changes/investigations and chair incident meetings
- Apply problem solving capabilities to determine root causes of issues and identify effective CAPA to increase right first time and improve efficient and reduce operating costs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- BS in Science related field
- 1-3 years of cGMP pharmaceutical experience preferred, food & beverage or cosmetics experience, etc. okay
- Experience with Root Cause analysis, CAPA's, Deviations, leading investigations, and supporting batch release process.
