Quality Control Laboratory Technician
- Location: Columbus, OH
- Shift: (M-F) Flexible 1st shift hours (8a,9a,10a)
- Pay: $20/hr
RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position is responsible for analyzing and testing manufactured products and raw materials.
- Testing on lab equipment-viscosity, pH, weight per gallon, % solids
- Uses approved test methods and procedures to assure that products meet customer specifications prior to releasing to the Filling department.
- Consults with QC, Production, and RDI personnel on quality related problems.
- Perform all QC and QA test procedure as specified for each product.
- Maintain R&D records using web-based computer system
- Prepare records for submission
- Evaluates test results and assists in the correction of Production and Filling related problems.
SKILLS& QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Scientific field
- Not color blind
- Basic computer skills
- Prior lab experience or entry level graduate
- Prior experience with color matching or working with paint, pigments, coatings is a plus
- Industrial lab experience doing basic wet chemistry-viscosity, pH, % solids
