Job Description
Work closely with suppliers and production teams. You will be responsible for developing and implementing quality plans, conducting process audits, and identifying areas for improvement. Responsibilities include:
• Coordinate with purchasing / manufacturing on supplier quality issues
• Oversee supplier MRB and corrective action process.
• Maintain supplier quality metrics
• Assist in preparing sampling plans, FMEAs, control plans
• Develop test methods and related procedures
• Conduct and/or oversee product testing during product development and into production
• Conduct training with Quality Technicians as required
• Perform detailed data analysis and prepare reports
Must Have
• 3 years as a Quality Engineer
• Bachelor's degree is preferred, not required
• Knowledge and experience with ISO-9000 Quality Management Standards
• Experience with Gage R&R
• Experience with PFMEA
• Experience with statistical software such as SQC Pack or Minitab®
