What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Engineer position at Actalent?
We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Engineer who is dedicated to ensuring customer satisfaction. In this role, you'll report directly to the Quality Manager and serve as a vital part of the team responsible for the implementation and ongoing support of our quality systems. As a Tier 1 automotive supplier, our number one priority is compliance with ISO 9001/TS and IATF Quality Standards. The successful candidate will be a proactive problem-solver, working directly with our customers to resolve any production quality issues.
Skills:
- Develop and maintain quality standards and procedures
- Manage the corrective action system and develop corrective actions using 8-D, 5 Why, and other problem-solving tools
- Serve as the main contact with customers regarding quality-related activities
- Prepare and ensure accuracy of PPAP submissions to customers
- Participate in ISO / TS and IATF Internal and External audits
