What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Drafter position at Actalent?
Description:
A commercial and residential building materials supplier, who also has their own internal residential design team and commercial/residential truss design team is hiring a drafter. This role will be focused on truss design and working primarily in MiTek. They will be reviewing construction documents and blueprints and working directly with structural engineers to design custom trusses, wall, and floor panels for each individual project.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Associate Degree or Bachelors in Architectural Design, Construction Management, or related program
- Experience with blue prints or construction documents
