Description:
Actalent Engineering has a client who is a Fortune 100 Telecommunications client in Raleigh, NC, lookin for a Ruby Developer to join their team. In this role, you will take a working prototype and design a very creative and quality UI for an internal engineering tool. The purpose of this effort is to develop a Web-based user interface using Ruby on Rails to develop the front end to our application.
You will be responsible for the design of the web-based system, including page flow, layout and database interaction to accurately and quickly present relevant information to our end users. You will also be responsible for designing a user login system based on defined roles and authority. Lastly, you will support the continuous deployment of the web-based system such that changes are immediately deployed to our live (internal) production system. Creativity is always a plus for UI development but you must be able to work independently.
Qualifications:
1. 5 years of UI development experience
2. Ruby
